Living room feeling blah? There are plenty of great ways to jazz it up without going out and buying a whole new furniture set. When you’re thinking about making a bold statement in your living room, there’s a line between tastefully daring and…something from the circus. If you’re working with a neutral palate (beige couch, gray chairs, etc.), try bringing in one or two accent colors or patterns to liven it up. A funky lamp, a bold rug, or a brightly-colored end table could be just the ticket. Check out your local thrift store or do a little DIY painting for a truly unique piece. Here are some of our favorite finds, sorted by COLOR.

Cool things down with perfect PLUM.

A pop of TURQUOISE never hurt anyone.

Add some energy to the room with YELLOW.

Choose RED for a bold, warm look.

Don’t forget to lay out a plan before you start shopping for your accent pieces. Remember to seek out high-quality goods that won’t fray or wash out in the sunshine. Have fun decorating! If you’re thinking about a major redesign of your home, contact our design team for guidance.
